Aelita, founder of the Aelita International company, is a world-renowned recording star. Called by the press "chanteuse extraordinaire", "masterful artist", and "skillful entertainer", she began singing at the age of five and her professional stage life at 15! Aelita has completed two world tours singing in 16 languages. Praised as the "Queen of Cabaret" and "International singing sensation", she has performed everywhere – from the opening ceremony of the Football World Cup in Seoul, South Korea to London and New York, from Paris to Moscow, from Miami to Jerusalem, from the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City to the White House in Washington, DC… Her first CD "Around the World in 60 Minutes" was released in 1999 and includes the most romantic songs of the 20th century sung in 12 languages (endorsed by Anthony Quinn). CD "Swing Around the World" was recorded in New York in 2007 with one of the best big bands in the world: Sherrie Maricle & The DIVA Jazz Orchestra. The musical genius of Tommy Newsom's arrangements skillfully interweaves jazz classics with symphonic sound - masterfully performed by an all-female 15 piece orchestra and a string section. The repertoire includes jazz standards, Broadway hits and international favorites sung in English, French, Russian, Italian and Chinese. In “CABARET A LA RUSSE” released in May 2010, Aelita reinterprets classic songs with a Russian, French and Yiddish Twist. In “SONGS MY FATHER TAUGHT ME” recorded in June 2010, Aelita pays tribute to her late father and her heritage in a beautifully selected compilation of Yiddish songs.
